Dr. Skaria is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology. She joined the practice in 2014.
Dr. Skaria received her medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her pediatric residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Long Island, NY. She continued her training in Long Island to complete a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at the State University of New York, Stony Brook.
Dr. Skaria was raised in New Jersey and New York but moved to the west coast with her husband to be close to family and help children with diabetes and other endocrine conditions in the Sacramento Valley.
Dr. Skaria has research experience in diabetes care and has presented at several national conferences including the Endocrine Society and Pediatric Academic Society. She is a member of several professional organizations including the Pediatric Endocrine Society, Endocrine Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In addition to providing the best possible comprehensive clinical care for diabetes, her academic interests are also in treating disorders of puberty, growth, thyroid, and adrenal problems.
